Laughing on his private jet - the £93m pastor accused of exploiting British worshippers

What's your take on "mega pastors" in Nigeria?  Do they do the people a disservice by promising riches through their "prosperity gospel"?  Should they focus more on issues such as poverty, education and corruption?  When they start schools, should they have scholarship schemes for deserving lower-income students?  Should they do more to speak up against corruption and speak truth to power?

Yes, yes, yes and yes.

Of course, they should do all of the above. The questions why don't they? At what point in the evolution of a mega-church does the focus shifts to material things and ego trips at the expense of serving God and people. It's a well paid servant that needs multiple jets and phantom royce to get the job done. Well paid indeed. But then, God is good!
