Nigerians In Technology

Bridging the Divide, from Talk to Action

Nigerians In Technology

Published on Tue, Nov 13 2012 by cybeeus
Though the best that our President, Goodluck Jonathan, could do so far is to make a case for the inclusion of Cassava flour to the flour being milled for baking bread and making confectioneries (see video) in a bill rejected by the House of representatives, there is still hope for Nigeria as Nigerians are not shying away from developing technologies to serve us and they are developing them without government aid, assistance or policy. I have listed below a few Nigerians that have gained some recognition for developing technologies to serve Nigerians. I am sure there are more out there who could use a little push to get them going if only we knew them. I am using this medium to ask people for Nigerians whom they know that have or are developing a technology specifically for Nigerians and what technology they have/are developing. It does not matter if they have received recognition for their work or not. We can start appreciating their work from here.
