Bridging the Divide, from Talk to Action
Our goal is to provide workbooks, backpacks, and school supplies to 100 grade one students attending Danialu Primary School in Kwara State Nigeria. Thus, we hope to raise funds to purchase 300 workbooks, 100 storybooks, and 100 backpacks with basic supplies in order to provide each child with his or her own collection of three workbooks, one storybook, and backpack with school supplies.
Problem
The elementary school students attending Danialu Primary School in Ilorin South, Kwara State of Nigeria do not have the resources they need to gain the high quality education they deserve. The classrooms at Danialu are filled over the capacity, and the local government and students’ families do not have the finances needed to supply these young students with the proper educational tools needed for academic success. We all know that a primary education is the beginning of every child’s educational development, and that through education these children can become enlightened and inspired to make an impact for the better in Nigeria and throughout the world.
Goal
Our goal is to provide workbooks, backpacks, and school supplies to 100 grade one students attending Danialu. Thus, we hope to raise funds to purchase 300 workbooks, 100 storybooks, and 100 backpacks with basic supplies in order to provide each child with his or her own collection of three workbooks, one storybook, and backpack with school supplies.
The school drive will start June 1, 2013 and end October 1, 2013. The price of each book and backpack ranges from five to ten dollars, and the quantity you can donate is endless. For just five dollars, you can bless a child with the gift of a book they will cherish for the rest of their lives.
The books, backpacks, and school supplies that will be donated to the Supply Africa School Drive will be mailed to Danialu Local Government Education Authority in Ilorin South, Kwara State and distributed to students at the beginning of the January 2014 school term.
With your help, we can empower the next generation of teachers and leaders by providing these youth with the educational tools they need to succeed.

-With a $5 donation, you can give a child a storybook that will help develop their reading skills and provide them the tools needed to practice their academics in order to become better readers, better learners, and eventually better leaders of tomorrow.
-With a $10 donation, you can give one child a workbook that they can use to improve their math and reading skills. These workbooks are highly important because they are curriculum-based workbooks, helping to reinforces what children are learning in the classroom.
-With a $10 donation, you can supply a child with a 16.5 inch backpack, a 70 sheet spiral notebook, 12 #2 pencils, a pencil sharpener, and an eraser.
-With a donation of $25, you can grant a child a workbook, a short storybook, and a 16.5 backpack with school supplies (70 sheet spiral notebook, 12 #2 pencils, a pencil sharpener, and an eraser).
-With a donation of $45, you can grant a child three workbooks, a short storybook, and a 16.5 backpack with school supplies (70 sheet spiral notebook, 12 #2 pencils, a pencil sharpener, and an eraser).
